Without Boundaries

I yawn

I stretch

melting into
glow
line
beneath
my feet

I adjust earbuds
and find abyss
and solace
and voice
and freedom

from
the screams
in my head

Storms dance
and play children’s games

I respect the rules

trying to be different
along this path

inhaling
tomorrow
like jazz
is promised
