We Talk Revolution Real

The vehicle is dream-like,
moving faster
than Snakes
can react to my
trajectory,
climb,
journey.

           Music invades
            my life—it is comfort
            and a militant
            wave infiltrates
            my mind,

like a stranger that I have
known for quite some
time.
We talk revolution
real, converse about dying
days, and

            humans that resemble
            animals (predators),
            dancing in three piece

suits, claiming
they know freedom,
eagerly enslaving
with their voices,
choices, and burnt out
ideas.

We are in here—the paint,
the struggle,
the Blues,
the movement,
always.
