Enter: We Were Supposed to Be Quiet?

Good morning!

First and foremost, thanks for continuing to read the poems of Mailbox Weekly! I will continue to add new content at least once a week. You may receive two poems in a week, depending on my ability to chase and capture that elusive Muse! You will also receive updates on my latest publications as well.

However, this particular message is about the publication of We Were Supposed to Be Quiet? which is a poetry collection dedicated to women poets in the state of Virginia. I had the honor of editing this book, and it features poems about love, loss, redemption, identity, and transformation. The women featured in this collection are extremely talented and are not shy about letting readers into their world. I selected the poems in this book, like I was curating a playlist on Spotify! I am sure the reader will enjoy these poems.

If you want to check out the book, please click on the image below, which will transport you to the information and ordering page.

Again, thanks for being a part of this experience. Thanks for continuing to be a part of my network of readers!

Warmest regards,
Synnika A. Lofton
