A different path. A different frequency. Flight is an idea, a way of life for people who are locked into alternative methods of screaming into the void, an American thing. The Last Poets talk fear of revolution. Lock Smith runs down the good news, like a street prophet, searching for the right angle to communicate with the people. I tinker with the machine, testing boundaries, breaking with tradition, surfacing with clenched fists, a militant stare, and a black leather coat. Built for the seasons. I guess. Trying to be all purpose. Empire creeps along. I sharpen intentions, my beard grows heavy with them stories. Breathing after my own fashion is essential. Counter-culture with a deceptive smile. Revolt is a liberative language, perched like an urban raven above Uncle Sam’s chamber door. And, like jazz, in late October, I summon a vibe.
